I followed tips to look for the device in device manager, and I ran an option to "check the device" which confirmed that my device is working properly. This led me to search for others with this problem & I found this thread. I assumed that my device had died, because the connection where the USB cable goes in has become "wobbly." I took a deep breath, and went to buy a new ColorMunki Photo today (gulp, another $500.) only to find the new one didn't work either. However, last night, my device could not be recognized by the ColorMunki software. I have used Color Munki for 4 years and never had trouble, even on my newest PC with Windows 8. After speaking to technical support, the problem was resolved by going to Services under Administrative Tools and turning off, reboooting, then tuning on the service for Colormunki. ![]()
